An artist designed 10 hole mini-golf course created in support of Jersey City Museum.

Known as America’s Golden Door, Jersey City was the first stop for immigrants coming through Ellis Island (1892-1954) to seek their American Dream. Inspired by the city’s history, artists were invited to create golf holes for an outdoor miniature golf course that portray their interpretations of “The Golden Door.” By considering the golf holes as interactive art pieces, the artists made greens that successfully guide the players through different situations, in order to mediate the game play and amplify their emotions throughout course.
