Selected Work from "Plastic Lunch" 2008
A series "Plastic Lunch" was inspired by grade school cafeteria menu I stumble upon.
I was shocked to find out how poorly students were fed. It led me to create a series of actual size lunch plates with vinyl. Each piece was inspired by actual menus from various public schools all over the country. Inedible plastic meals are mere reminder of our falling educational system and dysfunctional family units.
