Q.Who are you?
A. I am an artist, born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Moved to New York in '96.

Q. Where do you work?
A. Mainly in metro New York area. I had a studio in Newark, NJ and currently Sunset Park in Brooklyn

Q. What's your inspiration?
A. I used to be the biggest comic geek. My aesthetic was highly affected by Japanese Manga. My works evolved from creating my own images to appropriating found images. My obsession towards plastic tactility remained the same though.

Q. What do you do when you are not making art?
A. I have undying love for martial arts, but keep getting my butt kicked in sparring. I have the biggest sweet tooth, so I am always on look for new ice cream joint. Going to museums and galleries are big part of my life too
